BESPOKE IRONWORK
I will work with you to design and create your bespoke ironwork project. Involving our client from start to finish allows us to create a completely individual item, forged exactly to requirement. Sharing the processes that lie within a piece of ironwork: the features and details that make it wholly unique, is an important aspect of my work. Whether you have a vague idea or a fully formed plan, I can work with you to bring it to life.
REPAIR
I can employ both traditional and modern forging and fabricating techniques to repair or modify existing ironwork. I will work to ensure additions match the style and character of the piece, and retain as much of the original metal as possible. BLACKSMITHING DEMONSTRATIONS
I also run a mobile forge for public demonstrations, and can set up at festivals, fairs, promotional parties, or any event with 100 square feet of outdoor, open space. There are few more exciting ways to draw a crowd than a 2000 degree fire and the clatter of hammer blows. Full- or half- day demonstrations can be run, where I will forge a product from start to finish, speaking with onlookers about the process of the work and the history of the craft.
